Sometime in July 2000, Fresh Femininity was born out of the combined mental (non-)powers of Ayame, ex-co-webmistress of Otaku 04 (a now-defunct anime pseudo-collective) and Yin, also of Otaku 04 and the Dreamcatcher Network. F-F (to distinguish from Final Fantasy) is a clique for those who support, like, and love a certain female in an anime, manga, or game. This does not only apply to guys who drool over bishoujo (ironically, there doesn't seem to be any males in the member list), but also for girls who admire them. The females who are available on this clique don't have to be bishoujo or have a perfect personality; after all, a near-flawless character inspires envy and jealousy in many (as it does in real life ^_^). Also, the gender of the applicants is not important here; what matters is that femininity and feminism -- despite the varying, even detrimental meanings given to both -- are given emphasis, even if only in fiction.

Please, join now! Even if you're not zealous feminists like us (Yin especially ^^;;) you can still pick any two female characters from any anime, manga, or game as long as nobody has chosen them yet.
